The Staff of Temple Emanu-El, in Edison New Jersey, is made up of warm and caring individuals. From our Rabbis to our office staff everyone makes you feel welcome and special.

Samantha Eichert - Temple Administrator

Samantha Eichert is so proud to be Temple Emanu-El’s Temple Administrator. Samantha was born and raised in the Philadelphia area (just outside of Northeast Philly!). While in high school, she went to Gratz College for the Isaac Mayer Wise Reform Teaching Certification program. From there, Samantha developed a love and passion for Jewish education, programming, and general synagogue functions. She received a BA from the University of Hartford in Judaic Studies and Sociology with a minor in History. During her time in Connecticut, Samantha continued to further her synagogue involvement and served as the Principal for the Lower School (grades K-6) which solidified her desire to be a Jewish Professional. After graduating from college, Samantha made her way to Edison with her now husband (who is a native to the area) and continued to serve in several different roles among the New Jersey Jewish communities.

Samantha is eager and excited to get to know everyone who comes through our doors, and work in and among the community to create a temple we are all proud of. When Samantha is not at work, you can catch her at home with her husband & two dogs, or hanging out at the beach (in the summer!).

Please reach out, she is always happy to get to know new faces.

Dear Parents,

I would like to welcome all of our students and their families to our Religious School. Our entire staff is looking forward to an exciting year filled will wonderful programs and experiences for our students. Click the link to our schools curriculum, guidelines and other general information. The Temple Emanu-El Religious School faculty recognizes the great responsibility parents have placed in our hands. Our dedicated staff prepares the students, from ages five through seventeen, for participation in the Jewish Community.

It is our goal to familiarize our students, your children, with our Jewish history, values, language and traditions. This goal, however, cannot be ours alone. In order for us to successfully prepare your children for a lifetime in the Jewish community, we look forward to your continued participation and support. I encourage you to read the handbook from beginning to end to familiarize yourself with our exciting programs and policies.
