Youth Groups
Temple Emanu-El strives to create a welcoming, safe, and fun environment for our children, pre-teens, and teens to meet and socialize with other Jewish peers. With Reform Judaism as a common bond, our youth can feel free to be their true selves at youth group events.
All of our youth group programs are social based and encourage the youngsters to make new friends and build strong connections with each other. Additionally, each program focuses on a Jewish theme or value, such as social action, identity, and acceptance, to name only a few. These themes are explored in greater depths as the participants progress through the youth groups.
Our youth groups form a Kehilah Kedosha - a holy community - both within each age-based group and amongst all of our children as a whole. Our youngsters are given unique opportunities to experience a variety of programs and events, and to journey to fun and meaningful locations.

Temple Emanu-El offers three youth groups:
ChEESY (Children of Emanu-El Student Youth) - for 4th through 6th grade students
FrEESY (Freilich Emanu-El Sixth and Seventh Grade Youth) – for 7th and 8th grade students
EESY (Emanu-El Senior Youth) – for 9th* -12th grade students
